Lately there have been a lot of firsts! So here is my first workshop at the beautiful Torrance Airport in sunny Torrance, California for the Pastel Society of Southern California. I want to thank them for such a great venue (I loved all the planes and fighter jets!:) and their very warm hospitality. It was a great day with some really fabulous work from some great people. I look forward to coming back and doing it all again!

Oakville Art Society The Nude Figure in Pastel Workshop, April 10, 2011

This was my first time at the Oakville Art Society and I have to say what a great studio they have (it blew me away when I walked in there:) and I thank them so much for their hospitality. It was a fun day and our seasoned model Natalie seemed more than comfortable. Great work guys and I look forward to the next one at the OAS!

Schoolhouse Group of Artists Portrait Workshop January 19, 2011

I want to thank the Schoolhouse Group of Artists for having me come in. This was a really fun day and I was really impressed with the quality of work everyone was able to do in less than 4 hours. Jennifer was terrific as expected and her costume, hair and makeup was incredible! So much more than I could have expected:) Keep at it everyone!

Nude Figure in Pastel in Thornhill December 10 - 12, 2010

This was my second Nude Figure in Pastel Workshop and I definitely enjoyed my self even more than the last one! Everyone was so great including our model, Jennifer Rose. I was a little worried due to the threat of bad weather but everything worked out for a fabulous weekend (with exception of my absent mindedness, but that's without saying ;p). Every workshop I do is a learning experience so I can tell you truthfully that each one will be better than the last! I've already started to plan my next one which will be in March and hopefully in a bigger venue. so I look forward to seeing you all then! Abayo!

Nude Figure in Pastel in Thornhill July 23 - 25, 2010

This Workshop, The Nude Figure Pastel Workshop last weekend was such a great success! Everyone had a great time and did some fantastic work including myself working from our awesome model, Kristina at the picturesque MacDonald House in Thornhill. Figurative/Portrait Pastel Workshop in Markham Nov 11 & 18, 2009

This workshop was truly a great success. I want to thank the Markham Group of Artists for having me come in. I can definitely see that everybody enjoyed themselves immensely including myself and our lovely model Tiffany Villahermosa. They learned a lot about the portrait and figures and did some exceptional pieces. Hopefully they'll let me return so we can do it all again! Thanks again everyone you were all great!
